I’m pleased to share my “Trends and Innovation” presentation from ToyFest West 2015. The whole presentation is below but broken up into three parts.
Part 1: Introduction and Little Scientists
So what’s new with me? I’m excited to bring you the latest news on what’s happening at key ToyFairs, trade shows and conference events that affect kids and families, and their world of toys, games, favorite tech and beloved characters, playthings for babies and toddlers, and tools for their parents and caregivers.
It has been a whirlwind of travel and tradeshows since the beginning of 2015. I started the year in Las Vegas at the International CES 2015 where tech for kids & families has grown exponentially. We have posts from Mommy Tech TV and Be Terrific, from live broadcast at the show. Then I flew directly to Hong Kong for the Hong Kong Toy & Game Fair and the Asian Licensing Conference. I spoke on a panel about new technology and saw the Hong Kong Licensing Show Floor triple in size since last year!
Then after a pit stop back in New York, I jetted over to the Spielwarenmesse 2015 in Nuremberg, Germany, for the largest annual toy trade show in the world, covering the size of 42 football fields (Yes, I had to watch the Super Bowl from Nuremberg!)! See my VIDEO, broadcast LIVE from Nuremberg to the USA, in the video section of this site, and extra coverage from blogs, the daily Play-It Global newspapers, and more. As the Lead Trend Hunter for Spielwarenmesse and a part of the Trend Committee 2015, I was busy reporting on the news, providing daily Trend blogs, Toy Business Forum 2015 Speeches and presentations on Future Emerging Tech.« Continue »
